Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: I was inspired by the idea that even if people leave our lives, somewhere in another universe, they still stayed.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: The Universe Where We Stayed is an emotional journey that explores love, loss, and the invisible connections that never truly fade.

At its heart, the story follows a character caught between reality and memory—someone who has moved on in life, yet finds themselves constantly pulled back into thoughts of a person they once loved deeply. As the story unfolds, it dives into the idea of parallel universes—places where different choices were made, where love didn’t break, where two people never had to say goodbye.

This book is not just about a relationship; it’s about the “what ifs” we all carry. What if things had worked out? What if we had stayed? What if somewhere, in another version of life, we are still together?

Blending raw emotion with a touch of multiverse imagination, the novel creates a space where heartbreak and hope exist side by side.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: It means that even if we couldn’t stay together in this world, somewhere—in another universe—we did.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: I learned that love doesn’t always stay in our lives—but it never really leaves us either.

Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?

A: Yes… but not entirely.

The character is inspired by real emotions and experiences rather than just one person. There are pieces of someone real in them—the way they loved, the way they left, the way they stayed in my thoughts even after everything ended.

But at the same time, the character became their own person through the story. They’re a mix of reality and imagination… just like how memories themselves feel.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: I believe they found peace.

Not necessarily with each other, but within themselves. And sometimes, that’s the kind of ending people need—even if it’s not the one they wanted.
