‘There Is No Awkwardness’: Sriti Jha Opens Up On Performing Romantic Scenes With Arjit Taneja – News18

Television stars Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja have been gaining a lot of praise for their portrayals as Amruta and Virat in Zee TV’s popular show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. Both the TV celebrities have known each other for quite a long time now and have received good response from the audience for their on-screen chemistry. Recently, in an exclusive interview to ETimes TV, both Sriti and Arjit, shared their experiences of working together in daily soap and also revealed that there is “no awkwardness” between them while shooting for a romantic scene.

Arjit said, “It’s always better to work with a friend, when you’re working with a new person you take time to get comfortable with each other. But here as we knew each other for a decade now, we didn’t take any time.”

Sriti shared, “When you’re working in Television industry you spend a lot of time on sets, at times you feel tired, angry, or your’re not in a good mood, at that time you can went out to each other. Woh joh Ek sense of comfort hai Woh set par Woh isse pehle mere saath Kabhi nahi hai.,. Kyunki ye hai mere saath toh hai. Of course it doesn’t mean I take him for granted.”

Sriti also revealed that both of them break out in laughter while shooting for a romantic scene. She further said, “We would break into bouts of laughter. We still do. There is no awkwardness because we have actually gone passed the point of getting awkward. We have spent a lot of time quietly with each other and talking to each other so most of the things that mentioned can remind us of some inside joke.”

Sriti is a popular household name and has gained popularity because of her portrayal of Pragya Mehra in the hit show Kumkum Bhagaya which also starred Shabbir Ahluwalia in the lead roles.

Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye follows the story of Amruta (played by Sriti) who have faith in true love, encounters with Virat (played by Arjit Taneja) with different ideology about love and romance due to is past relationship experiences. Despite of their differences, can they find love in each other?

The show premiered on November 27 last year. Apart from Zee TV the show also streams on the OTT platform Zee5.
