Uruguay Vs Spain Live Score Updates, FIFA World Cup 2026 Match Today (URU vs ESP Football Match Scorecard & Commentary):

Uruguay take on Spain in their final Group H FIFA World Cup 2026 encounter at the Estadio Guadalajara in Mexico on Saturday.

Spain lead Group H with four points after a draw and a 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia. A victory will secure top spot, while a draw should also be enough unless Cape Verde register an unlikely high-scoring win in the other group match.

Uruguay must win to guarantee a place in the Round of 32 after drawing both of their matches, although a draw could still see them progress depending on other results and the best third-placed rankings. Despite the presence of Federico Valverde, Darwin Núñez and Manuel Ugarte, La Celeste have struggled to find form, while Spain have gained momentum with Lamine Yamal’s return boosting their attack.

Spain are also unbeaten in 10 previous meetings with Uruguay since 1950, winning five and drawing five, leaving Uruguay needing to end that run to keep their World Cup hopes alive.
