About the Author:
Vijay has spent 35+ years in corporate world and worked his way up to senior positions in Indian as well as MNCs. He also had a short stint in Germany. He is an engineer with marketing management diploma. While he handled different teams, geographies, functions, it is his uncanny ability to spot humour in banal routine corpo life which people would remember him for. He makes art, writes humor and loves to get involved with social causes.

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?
A: Corporategiri is full of fakery, politics and tickmark exercises and if it’s forced on totally opposite characters , not submissive employees, it would be total fun and chaos. I was inspired by this mad thought.
Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?
A: A true blue or stress beaten black n blue guy lands at Mafia world ( Bhai world) of Mumbai and starts applying corporategiri with Best practices Skills n training Compliance Formulas Big Bhai ( Mafia Don) a risky mad guy takes him on justifying Only a Choo can handle his gang of Choos ( only a moron can handle his gang of morons)
Q: What Does The Title Mean?
A: The title Corporategiri means’ the corporate culture and Bhaigiri means “Mafia culture” in Mumbai setting.
Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?
A: The book is inspired by many Corporate characters whom I worked with on my long corpo career. Many were hilarious without knowing, trying.
Q: When Did You Write Your First Book And How Old Were You?
A: This is my first book and idea germinated in 2019, pandemic period.
Q: Do You Try More To Be Original Or To Deliver To Readers What They Want?
A: I am for originality and not pandering to taste of masses. I have not taken any help from AI in this book.
