Sunny Deol received applause for his performances in the latest released ‘Gadar 2’. The film did great business at the box office. Now, the actor is busy with his next project, titled ‘Safar‘.
Recently, in an interview, Deol has opened up about privately battling dyslexia. He shared how dyslexia posed difficulties during his school years. The actor also revealed that he continues to face challenges on movie sets, as he works hard to fully process dialogues before delivering them on camera.
During a chat with Bombay Times, Deol revealed that he is dyslexic, and faces a problem when he memorised his lines as he can’t read and write properly.To solve the issue, he receives the dialogue in Hindi and reads the words meticulously.
The actor also recalled the way people would look down upon him, being inconsiderate towards his issue and said that earlier, we didn’t know what it was, and people would think him a duffer.
‘Gadar 2’. was a sequel to ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha‘. The second part of the ‘Gadar’ series was directed by Anil Sharma and also starred actress Ameesha Patel. The film was released on August 11.
On the work front, Sunny is shooting for ‘Safar’. He recently landed into controversy after a video of him went viral on the internet. In the clip, he was seen walking on the road in an inebriated state. However, he later clarified that the clip was actually from the shoot of his next project.
