The company’s latest research, conducted with OnePoll, revealed that 78% of Indian travellers plan to travel this summer, but 39% have not yet booked due to indecision about dates (51%) and destinations (50%).

It displays the average monthly prices and the best times to book for popular destinations and suggests cheaper alternatives. Skyscanner’s data experts found that the cheapest week to travel to Abu Dhabi is the week of July 13, with an average price of Rs 22,878. For London, the cheapest week is July 20, with an average price of Rs 63,555.
According to Skyscanner, the best time to book flights from India in July is typically 16 weeks ahead of departure. However, this can vary depending on the route and month of travel. For example, the best time to book a flight from Mumbai to London in August is 3 weeks ahead, with an average price of Rs 68,122.
For travellers who worry they have missed the best booking window, Skyscanner’s Savings Generator provides a snapshot of how prices vary around the ideal booking time for popular routes. The tool reveals that great deals are still available for more spontaneous summer trips, such as Mumbai to Dubai 2 weeks ahead of travel, with an average price of Rs 23,906.
