Today marks the 51st wedding anniversary of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Their relationship was elevated to the next level when they tied the knot on June 3, 1973. As one of the most celebrated Bollywood couples, they are a perfect example of true love and growing together in a relationship.

During an early appearance on Karan Johar’s popular talk show, Karan asked Jaya Bachchan, who was accompanied by her daughter Shweta Bachchan, what they fight about. Shweta responded, “Everything, I think.” Jaya smiled and replied, “We don’t fight; we get angry.” Shweta corrected her, saying, “We fight, Mumma. Don’t sugarcoat it.” Jaya then added, “We bang phones.”
Shweta amusingly corrected her mother, stating, “You’re the one who bangs phones. If I do it, Mumma will call me and say, ‘You’re much younger than me, how can you bang the phone on me?’ and then she’ll bang the phone herself.”
When discussing the men in the family, Jaya Bachchan shared, “The one who acts like the biggest baby demands more attention than anyone else.” When Karan suggested Abhishek, Jaya denied it. Karan then mentioned Amitabh Bachchan’s name, and Jaya smiled and nodded in agreement. Shweta also confirmed her mother’s statement.
