Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is set to clash with ‘Singham Again’ on November 1 – Times of India

Bhushan Kumar has officially confirmed that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, featuring a star-studded cast including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri, will hit theaters on November 1, 2024, coinciding with the Diwali festivities. This announcement solidifies the film’s release date, which will see it competing at the box office with Ajay Devgn‘s Singham Again.
During the trailer launch event for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Kumar stated, “We are bringing Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on November 1, that is for sure.” This sequel follows the successful Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was released in 2022 and was itself a follow-up to the original 2007 film directed by Priyadarshan, which starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan.
The release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on the same day as Singham Again marks a significant moment for movie lovers as both films are highly anticipated. Singham Again is the third installment in the Singham franchise, which began with the 2011 film and continued with Singham Returns in 2014. This latest entry is part of Rohit Shetty‘s cinematic universe, which also includes Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021). The cast of Singham Again features an ensemble of star actors, including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Deepika Padukone, among others.
While Kumar acknowledged the potential for a box office clash, he refrained from commenting extensively on it, emphasizing the commitment to the November 1 release date for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He hinted at future projects as well, stating, “All I can say is we are coming with Bhool Bhulaiyaa (3) on November 1. That is for sure.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 promises to continue the franchise’s tradition of blending horror with comedy, a formula that has resonated well with audiences. Directed by Anees Bazmee, who helmed the previous installment, the film is expected to feature enhanced visual effects and a more immersive experience, leveraging advancements in technology since the last film.
