At least 12 people were injured in a knife attack at Hamburg station in Germany on Friday evening. According to reports, three victims are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the local police confirmed they had arrested the suspected assailant.
Germany’s Bild newspaper reported that police is investigating the matter, but the motive behind the attack is still unknown.
Hamburg police shared on social media platform X that a 39-year-old woman was arrested shortly after the incident and is believed to have acted alone.
According to police, the attacker targeted people on the platform between tracks 13 and 14 at the station.
