Bihar CM News, Government Formation Live Updates: With the new Bihar government likely to take shape within the next two to three days, the outgoing cabinet is expected to meet for the last time on Monday. According to sources, Nitish Kumar’s JDU may get the Chief Minister’s post.

The outgoing 17th Assembly is expected to be formally dissolved at the meeting. After the resolution is adopted, Nitish Kumar will tender his resignation to Governor Khan, paving the way for the next stage of forming the new government.

The swearing-in ceremony for the Bihar NDA government is expected to take place either on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s availability, sources added.

The NDA secured a strong mandate in the Bihar elections, with both the JDU and BJP significantly improving on their 2020 performances. The BJP became the single-largest party with 89 seats, followed by the JDU with 85. Smaller allies — including the LJP(RV), HAM, and RLM — also delivered solid results.
