Exclusive interview with the author
Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?
A: Although many books exist for this level, few truly speak to the learner. I felt there was a need for a resource that is not only informative but also approachable — one that makes the learning process enjoyable and stress-free. To bridge this gap, I was inspired to create Franc Succès DELF B2.
Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?
A: The book provides comprehensive grammar, language tools, proverbs, idioms, writing skills, and many other aspects that guide students toward real success in French learning.
Q: What Does The Title Mean?
A: The title Franc Succès literally means “Complete Success.” It reflects the essence of the book — a promise of clarity, achievement, and excellence.
Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?
A: I realised that teaching requires deep knowledge, patience, and an understanding of what students genuinely expect from a teacher. Knowing something and being able to explain it simply are two very different skills.
Q: How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?
A: It takes me around 60 days to write a book.
Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?
A: Read deeply, write consistently, and revise patiently. Writing is not a race; it is a rhythm. A beautiful book is not written once — it is rewritten until it breathes naturally.
Q: Do You Try More To Be Original Or To Deliver To Readers What They Want?
A: I believe in harmony between both. Originality gives life to writing, while the reader’s needs give it purpose.
Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?
A: Success, to me, is peace — the satisfaction of having helped others grow and the quiet confidence of knowing that your work has made a difference.
Q:Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?
A: I read extensively — books by French, linguistic research, and pedagogical works. I also spend time in French libraries, where each visit deepens my understanding of language, culture, and expression.
Q: When Did You Write Your First Book And How Old Were You?
A:I wrote my first book during the COVID-19 outbreak — a time when silence and solitude gave me the space to think, write, and create.
Q: How Many Books Have You Written? Which Is Your Favourite?
A: I have written around 25 books, including Franc Succès DELF A1, A2, B1, Succès Conquis DELF B2, and Code Humain – 71. Among them, Franc Succès DELF B2 remains my favourite, as it captures both my experience and my evolution as a writer.
Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?
A: Write with sincerity. Let your words come from conviction, not convenience. Above all, remember: writing is not about perfection, but about connection.
