Displaced Palestinians woke up to their tents on fire in the early hours of Oct.14, after an Israeli air strike hit Al Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza. Palestinian medics reported several people killed and dozens of others wounded. The IDF said that it struck militants operating from a command center inside the medical centre’s compound. It also accused Hamas of hiding among civilians and using facilities such as hospitals for terror operations.
