Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: I wrote A Home Called Bandra so that future generations could experience the warmth, charm and close-knit community spirit of the Bandra I knew and loved.

A: A Home Called Bandra is a nostalgic journey through the people, places. traditions and everyday moments that made old Bandra not just a place to live, but a place to belong.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title A Home Called Bandra means that Bandra was more than just a place on the map- it was a home where friendships flourished, traditions were cherished, neighbours became family and countless memories were made.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: Writing A Home Called Bandra taught me that while buildings and landscapes may change, the true soul of a place lives on in its people, their stories and the memories they leave behind.

Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: Read widely, observe keenly, write honestly and never be afraid to revise – good writing comes from the heart.

Q: What Is The Most Difficult Part About Writing For You?

A: Deciding what to leave out because every memory and story feels worth telling.

A: To me, success is knowing that what I created has touched someone’s heart.
