Exclusive interview with the author
Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?
A: The thought that death is certain but the timing of death is uncertain inspired me to write this book. I wanted people to understand the true value of life, time, relationships, and meaningful experiences. My purpose is to encourage readers to live consciously and avoid unnecessary regrets.
Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?
A: You Will Die One Day: So Live Without Regret is a thought-provoking book about the meaning and purpose of life. It encourages readers to rethink their priorities, overcome unnecessary fears, and appreciate the time they have. Its central message is to take charge of your life and live meaningfully before time runs out.
Q: What Does The Title Mean?
A: The title reminds us that death is inevitable, even though nobody knows when it will come. It is not intended to create fear but to awaken people to the importance of living wisely. The subtitle, So Live Without Regret, encourages readers to make meaningful choices while they have the opportunity.
Q: What did you learn while writing the book?
A: I learned that life is too precious to be wasted on endless worries, comparisons, and the pursuit of approval from others. I realised that time, relationships, inner peace, and meaningful actions deserve greater attention. Most importantly, I learned that we should not postpone living the life we truly want.
Q: Do you have any suggestions to help others become a better writer?
A: Read widely, observe life carefully, and write regularly to develop your skills. Focus on communicating one clear message in language that readers can understand and relate to. Welcome feedback, revise your work patiently, and write with honesty and purpose.
Q: Do you try more to be original or to deliver what readers want?
A: I believe originality and readers’ needs should complement each other. My aim is to express my own thoughts honestly while addressing questions and challenges that readers genuinely experience. A good book should offer a fresh perspective and provide value to the reader.
Q: What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
A: The most difficult part is expressing deep thoughts about life in simple words that everyone can understand. I want readers from different backgrounds to connect with the message and reflect on their own experiences. Finding the right words to create a lasting impact requires careful thought and repeated refinement.
Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?
A: Success means making a positive difference in people’s lives rather than measuring everything through money, recognition, or status. If my book encourages even one person to value time, improve a relationship, or pursue a meaningful dream, I consider that valuable. For me, true success is leaving behind knowledge, inspiration, and a positive impact.
Q: Where Do You Get Your Greatest Ideas For Writing?
A: My greatest ideas often emerge from reflecting on everyday life and asking questions that people do not always take the time to consider. I draw inspiration from human behaviour, professional experiences, reading, and observations of how people use their time and make decisions. I believe that thoughtful observation can turn ordinary experiences into powerful messages.
Q: What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
A: Start writing about something you genuinely believe in instead of waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect idea. Read regularly, develop your own voice, accept constructive criticism, and keep improving your manuscript until it communicates your message clearly. Remember that writing a book is not only about becoming an author but also about offering something meaningful to your readers.
