‘Targeting Civilian Infrastructure Completely Unacceptable’: India Condemns Houthi Attack On Saudi Airports

India on Thursday condemned attacks targeting two airports in Saudi Arabia that have killed three people and left dozens injured, calling the targeting of civilian infrastructure “completely unacceptable”.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, India said the attacks over the past few days had targeted Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, resulting in civilian casualties.
“The targeting of civilian infrastructure is completely unacceptable,” India said, while expressing condolences to the families of those killed and wishing those injured a speedy recovery.
“ We express solidarity and stand with the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the statement added.
According to Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authorities, one person was killed and eight others injured in an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. A separate attack on facilities at Abha airport left two people dead and 28 injured.
