Hyderabad, Aug 15 (PTI) A 66-year-old manager of a temple near here was taken into custody for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl inside the temple premises, police said on Sunday.

The incident took place on August 13. The accused was caught in the act by some locals, who then alerted police.

A case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at the Ramachandrapuram police station and the accused was taken into custody, a police official said. PTI VVK DIV DIV
