US-Iran War LIVE Updates: Explosions Heard In Western Iran’s Eslamabad Gharb
US-Iran War News Updates: The US and Israel are weighing possible strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure as Washington looks to pressure Tehran into accepting ceasefire terms, according to a report by Axios.
Citing a US official, Axios said US President Donald Trump is considering attacks on Iranian energy and infrastructure targets within days, though no final decision has been made. Israel could also participate in the operation, which would mark its first direct involvement in strikes on Iran in several weeks.
Additionally, Iran’s military said it targeted US military facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain on Friday in retaliation for American strikes. Kuwait said it intercepted attacking drones, with debris causing limited damage but no casualties reported. Bahrain has not issued an immediate comment.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards also claimed they struck two oil tankers attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz under US military escort. The IRGC said the vessels were stopped, while other tankers changed course.
