Rupali Ganguly, who has captivated audiences with her portrayal of the titular character in Anupamaa, is back with another heartwarming post. In a behind-the-scenes video shared by the actress on her Instagram account, she can be seen happily dancing while the show’s directors try to explain an intense scene to her. Dressed in a beautiful pink saree, Rupali blissfully grooved to Daler Mehndi’s Sajan Mere Satrangiya, which certainly brought smiles to her fans.
The actress explained the reason behind her playful dance by writing above the video, “When my directors try to explain an emotionally intense scene to me.” She then cheekily added, ““But mera dimag kal hone wale song shoot pe hai (But my mind is on tomorrow’s song shoot).”
As the directors struggled to maintain a straight face, Rupali’s mischief took centre stage. By the end of the clip, they playfully acted as if they couldn’t handle the actress’ antics and, in a light-hearted moment, left the script behind and exited the frame.
In the caption, Rupali wrote, “When real becomes reel. No wonder I work better under your direction! You guys are pro actors and absolutely the bestest @romeshkalra sir & @abhayjadhav dostaa. Thank you for being so sporting to do this despite the emotional blackmailing!”
Rupali’s fun video immediately caught the attention of her fans and her celebrity friends. Delnaaz Irani, Zalak Desai, and Jaswir Kaur were some of the notable names. On the other hand, one of her fans said, “Cutest RGM being the bubbly soul that she is.” Another commented, “This is officially my FAVOURITE Reel of Anumaa from set.” Someone else mentioned, “Director: ‘Emotional intensity.’ She: ‘Dance intensity!’”
Just days ago, Rupali had posted another reel on her Instagram account, acting to Sunil Grover’s hit song Mere Husband Mujhko Piyar Nahin Karte. In the video, which featured her Anupamaa co-star Alpana Buch, the duo could be seen lip-syncing to the hilarious lyrics of the song. Sharing the video, Rupali wrote, “When you need romance but get only ‘ok’. How many of you can relate???? Anupamaa Aur Baa @whosunilgrover love this track !!! “
In her personal life, Rupali Ganguly was recently embroiled in a legal case where her stepdaughter, Esha Verma, accused the actress of being “toxic” and “abusive.” After the allegations, Rupali filed a defamation lawsuit for Rs 50 crore.
