The Veer Foundation had earlier planted 103 Conocarpus trees.

The youth in the village of Dalvana have started a new organisation named the Veer Foundation.

Protecting the environment is one of the most important things in current times. As the condition of the earth is constantly deteriorating, it is important to plant trees to protect nature. Many people in India are actively involved in environmental protection by planting trees and making the area greener.

Nowadays, the youth are also participating in such activities. In the Dalvana village of Vadgam Taluka in Gujarat, people from all age groups are focusing on the development in their surroundings. They have made the area greener and have also made various facilities in their village available.

According to reports, the youth in the village of Dalvana have started a new organisation named the Veer Foundation. They planted around 103 Conocarpus plants in the area. In no time, these plants grew into big trees and made the area look greener. They have also created the Sudhir Forest and Dina Sudhir Sports Ground in the village. The effort by the foundation has been widely appreciated by the people living in the area.

Now, the government has banned the plantation of Conocarpus plants in the area. They have started the process of eradicating these plants and trees. Bharatbai, who is the Forest Range Officer (RFO) of the Amirgadh range of Banaskantha, has revealed that the Conocarpus trees are of no use. He also added that even birds do not make their nests on it.

Banaskantha district is considered a dry area in terms of water, and it is not advisable to plant these trees as they absorb a lot of water from the soil. He further explained that many skin-related diseases are also occurring due to flowers growing on these trees.

After the mandate was issued by the Forest Department to remove all the Conocarpus trees, the members of the Veer Foundation removed all the 103 Conocarpus trees. To protect nature and provide greenery for their environment, they planted 110 other species of trees in the area.
