NEW DELHI: Pakistan cricket fans hold a fervent aspiration to witness players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi grace the IPL stage alongside Indian stars such as Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah.
A fan shared several images accompanied by the caption on X, “Dream for many Indian and Pakistani cricket fans….”
However, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh came up with a savage reply to the fan saying Indians do not possess such dreams.
“No indian hv such dreams .. you guys plz stop dreaming ?????? wake up now,” Harbhajan responded to the post.

Currently, Babar and Rizwan are actively participating in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024, while Virat, Bumrah, and their counterparts are gearing up for the upcoming IPL 2024 season.
Pakistani cricketers have participated in the IPL over the years. However, due to political tensions between India and Pakistan, there has been limited participation of Pakistani players in the IPL in recent years.
Some notable Pakistani players who have featured in previous editions of the IPL include Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Umar Gul, Sohail Tanvir, and Mohammad Asif.
It’s important to note that the participation of Pakistani players in the IPL depends on various factors, including bilateral relations between India and Pakistan, government policies, and decisions made by the IPL franchises during player auctions.
