Amitabh Bachchan has returned for another season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The actor reprised his role as the host for KBC 16, with the first episode airing on August 12. The quiz show gives an opportunity for many to win huge sums of money by applying their knowledge. The platform also gives a chance for many to improve their lifestyle and fulfil long standing dreams. In the recent episode, Amitabh Bachchan assured contestant Jayanta Duley that he would install a toilet at his house and praised his efforts to promote cleanliness in his town.

Jayanta Duley is a 25-year-old student and part-time tutor from Agai. He joined the show alongside his sister Shikha Duley. Jayanta was overcome with emotion after winning the Fastest Finger First competition and getting a chance to play the game. He discussed his ambition of building a bathroom for his mother and sister. Jayanta expressed his plight, saying, “Meri mummy ko toh aadat ho gaya hai par meri choti behen jab talabo mein nahati hai toh bahut sharamindagi hoti hai ki uska bada bhai ho kar mai uske liye kuch nahi kar sakta (My mother has gotten used to it, but when my younger sister bathes in the ponds, I feel very ashamed that, as her elder brother, I can’t do anything for her).”

Amitabh Bachchan was quite touched by his words and expressed that it is unfortunate to hear and also unexpected that there are still some regions in India where basic facilities are not accessible to everyone. Moreover, he stated what Jayanta described about your sister and mother having to bathe in public is a really embarrassing situation. Amitabh Bachchan further asked how much it would cost to make a bathroom in his house. While the contestant shared an approximate amount, the megastar decided to facilitate this himself.

Amitabh Bachchan said, “Toh bhaishaab aaj yahan se nishchint ho kar jayega kyuki aap bhale hi kitna hi jeete ya na jeete.
