Lucknow Super Giants’ Ayush Badoni played some beautiful shots towards the end of the innnings and took his team to a competitive total of 167 in the Indian Premier League 2024 match against Delhi Capitals in Lucknow on April 12.

Ayush Badoni (55) and Arshad Khan (20) added 73 valuable runs in the last 7 overs.

Delhi Capitals bowlers started with a bang by removing Quinton de Kock (19), Devdutt Padikkal (3), Marcus Stoinis (8) and Nicholas Pooran (0) with just 66 on the board. LSG captain K.L. Rahul (39) played some beautiful shots but his wicket at 77 followed by Deepak Hooda (10) and Krunal Pandya (3). Lucknow Super Giants were stuttering at 94 for 7.

Kuldeep Yadav (3 for 20) and Khaleel Ahmed (2 for 41) wre the main wicket-takers for Delhi Capitals.

Earlier, Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bat.

Left-arm pacer Arshad Khan replaced Mayank Yadav, who is nursing a minor niggle, in the LSG playing XI.

Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant has included Mukesh Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav in the side for the match against LSG.
