Acer has launched the Aspire 3 (2026) in India, and it’s clearly aimed at a very specific buyer, students, particularly those prepping for medical entrance exams. The laptop comes with a genuinely interesting bundled feature, dedicated NEET 2027 study material, alongside the usual budget laptop specs you’d expect at this price point.

The Aspire 3 (2026) starts at Rs 29,990 for the 11.6-inch model, while the larger 15.6-inch variant is priced at Rs 47,990. If you’re paying with a Flipkart Axis Bank credit card, you can also get a cashback of up to Rs 2,400, which helps bring the effective cost down a bit further.

Both sizes are currently available to buy through Flipkart. The 15.6-inch model comes in Pure Silver, while the smaller 11.6-inch version is available in Blue.

The NEET prep angle

Here’s what genuinely sets this laptop apart from a typical budget student machine. Acer has partnered with Infinity Learn to bundle in special course material specifically for NEET 2027, the entrance exam for students hoping to get into medical college in India. This content is accessible directly through the Infinity Learn website.

The laptop also ships with AINA, a voice-based AI assistant, and gives users access to over 800 self-study concept videos, clearly positioning this as more than just a general-purpose laptop for students who happen to be studying for NEET.

Specifications

The Aspire 3 (2026) runs Windows 11 Home and comes with either an 11.6-inch or 15.6-inch HD TFT LCD screen, with a resolution of 1,366 by 768 pixels. It’s powered by a dual-core Intel Celeron N4500 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage, along with an integrated Intel UHD graphics unit. This is fairly entry-level hardware, suited to everyday tasks like browsing, note-taking, and video lectures rather than anything demanding.

For video calls, there’s a 720p webcam with a privacy shutter, along with dual speakers for audio. The keyboard comes in a 99, 100, or 103-key layout depending on configuration, paired with a standard trackpad.

Battery life is rated at up to 8 hours from its 38Wh battery, and the laptop supports 24W wired fast charging. On the connectivity side, you get three USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, and an HDMI port. The laptop measures 357.4 by 228 by 17.7mm and weighs approximately 1.5kg.

At Rs 29,990 for the base model, the Aspire 3 (2026) is squarely a budget laptop, and the specs reflect that, an entry-level Celeron chip and HD display won’t win any performance awards. But if you’re specifically shopping for a student, especially one prepping for NEET, the bundled Infinity Learn content and AINA assistant add genuine value that’s hard to find elsewhere at this price, making it worth a look beyond just the hardware spec sheet.
