US-Iran War Latest News Updates Today Live:The conflict in West Asia intensified sharply on Tuesday as the United States launched fresh strikes across Iran and President Donald Trump announced plans to restore a naval blockade while imposing fees on ships using the Strait of Hormuz.
The US military said it targeted sites in Bushehr, Bandar Abbas and other locations to degrade Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping. Tehran retaliated with missile and drone attacks targeting US-linked facilities in Bahrain, while attacks on tankers near the Strait of Hormuz deepened concerns over global energy supplies. Brent crude rose to $87.49 per barrel after soaring more than 9% a day earlier.
Alongside the military escalation, Oman renewed diplomatic efforts, Israel and Lebanon opened another round of talks in Rome, and regional governments warned of growing risks to shipping, trade and stability across West Asia.
