Win for Edappadi Palaniswami as SC upholds Madras HC order on AIADMK leadership | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: In a major relief to former Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS), the Supreme Court on Thursday affirmed Madras high court division bench decision which allowed him to continue as the interim general secretary of the AIADMK.
A bench of Justices Dinesh Maheswari and Hrishikesh Roy had reserved judgment on the matter on January 12.
The top court dismissed the petitions filed by O Paneerselvam.
