Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. Details about the health visit have not been revealed yet. Navbharat Times had attributed to sources that Amitabh Bachchan was undergone an angioplasty on his leg for a clot, however, there is no official confirmation about the same. Just hours before the news about his hospitalization was reported, Amitabh Bachchan had penned on X, “T 4950 – in gratitude ever ..” and he had also promoted the Majhi Mumbai team in the Indian Street Premier League.

In one of his recent blog posts, the acting stalwart had shared that as he ages, people are criticising him less.Amitabh, who will be turning 81 this year in October, had penned, “Now with age the ridicule has lessened… now with time, they that are asked or are brought into the picture by me, are convinced that the man is 81, old, decrepit and mental, bear him… it shan’t be for long… and the responses go on with a sense of… poor guy, so uninformed, let him be etc. etc. etc…” He added, “Also the temerity to seek and voice matters that may never have been done earlier have reached the stage of a fearless disposition.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in Nag Ashwin’s upcoming film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, co-starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. The film will be packed with sci-fi and is set against the backdrop of Indian mythology. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is all set to hit the screens on May 9. Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan will also reunite with Rajinikanth after 33 years. The duo is all set to share the frame in Thalaivar 170 and shot for the same last year.
