Bigg Boss 17: YouTuber Sunny Arya Aka Tehelka Prank Sends Special Raksha Bandhan Gift To Isha Malviya – News18

While the country rejoiced the bitter-sweet relationship of siblings on Raksha Bandhan, Bollywood and TV stars also celebrated the festival with immense joy and fervour. In case you missed it, on August 19, television actress Isha Malviya continued the tradition despite her brother, Joy, residing in Richmond, USA. She exchanged wishes with him on a video call on the special occasion. However, this year, it was not Joy but Isha’s priceless bond with YouTuber Sunny Arya that captured everyone’s attention. The duo met on a reality show.

On Monday, Isha shared a picture on her Instagram story showing the gift sent by the Bigg Boss 17 contestant. Sunny Arya, aka Tehelka Prank, gifted Isha a colourful knitted sling bag with Tehelka written on it. Thanking the YouTuber, Isha Malviya wrote, “Gift ke liye Shukriya Tehelka Prank bhai, see you soon (Thank you for the gift brother. See you soon).”

On the occasion, Isha Malviya recalled her Raksha Bandhan memories with News18 Showsha. The Udaariyaan star said, “We usually get together as a family, and I tie a rakhi on my brother’s wrist, followed by exchanging gifts. My brother, Joy, who moved to the US when he was just 3 years old, has always been a part of these celebrations in spirit. We’ve found ways to keep the tradition alive, even if it’s through video calls.”

She went on to say that the most memorable Raksha Bandhan gift she received from Joy was a heartfelt letter. “He wrote about how much he misses our time together and how he wishes to be with me every Raksha Bandhan, despite the distance. It was simple, but it touched my heart deeply,” she added.

Isha Malviya became a household name with Sargun Mehta’s television show Udaariyaan, which also starred Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary and Ankit Gupta. She essayed the role of Jasmine Sandhi on the show. But Isha’s popularity skyrocketed following her stint in the 17th season of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 17. Her dynamics with Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar grabbed eyeballs.

In terms of work, the actress was recently seen in the music video, Ve Paagla, opposite singer Preetinder. She also starred in the music video, Main Yaad Aaunga, alongside Siddharth Gupta.
