CJP’s Abhijeet Dipke targets Centre over notice to actor Imran Khan
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday trained guns at the Centre hours after actor Imran Khan was asked to leave India following his participation in the group’s October 10 protest in Mumbai over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) issue.
In a post on X, Dipke drew a comparison between Khan and American singer Mary Millben, who had claimed that the CJP was being funded by donors in the United States.
“Mary Millben, an American, can speak in favour of the BJP. But Imran, an OCI cardholder, can’t say anything against the BJP”, he wrote.
Mary Milben, who is known for her public support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday alleged that the CJP was being funded by donors in the US.
She urged the Indian youth to peacefully protest against the group.
“To all the beautiful young patriots in India: This is not the time to be silent. @abhijeet_dipke and the @Cockroachisback are being funded by donors in the U.S. who are against Prime Minister @NarendraModi and your future under his leadership. Do not fear, my young patriots. Your Prime Minister, who has served India for 25 years, 12 years as Prime Minister, elected three consecutive terms, is not going to bow to disruptive forces from my country”, she wrote in an X post.
Millben claimed that the donors in question worked on the basis of a set pattern.
“And these select donors have a pattern globally – target conservative global leaders, find an U.S. educated person from the country, radicalize them, send them back to the country, and fund them to start chaos and destruction. None of them have been successful but have impacted the development and governance of the country”.
“It is time for a new voice in #India, born, raised, educated on the soil of India, to RISE UP, organize, and peacefully protest the disruptive spirit of the Cockroach Party. There should always be a counter movement to uphold democracy and freedom”, she added.
Imran Khan Asked To Leave India
Bollywood actor Imran Khan, who participated in the CJP’s October 10 protest in Mumbai, has been issued notice for the violation of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.
Khan, who is a foreign national, has been asked to leave India by October 28. The notice was issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office in Mumbai.
The development followed a complaint by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya, who alleged that the actor had participated in the anti-CEC protest at August Kranti Maidan in Mumbai on October 10, despite holding a US passport and an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card.
Meanwhile, Khan is likely to move the Bombay High Court to challenge the order.
