The Ba***ds of Bollywood follows Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious outsider determined to carve a space in Bollywood.

Aryan Khan’s directorial The Ba***ds of Bollywood 2 will go on floors in 2027. If a report by Variety India is to be believed, the shoot for the second season of Shah Rukh Khan’s son will begin in March next year.

The entertainment portal further claimed that The Ba***ds of Bollywood 2 will mark Lakshay’s return as Aasmaan Singh. Among others, Sahher Bambba will also reprise her role as Karishma Talvar. Bobby Deol will also return as Ajay Talvar, whereas Raghav Juyal will reprise his popular character, Parvaiz. Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari and Rajat Bedi are also expected to reprise their respective roles.

Details about The Ba***ds of Bollywood 2 plot are not known as of now.

The update comes a month after Bilal Siddiqi, who co-wrote the show with Aryan Khan, also shed light on The Ba***ds of Bollywood 2 and told NDTV, “Red Chillies and Netflix are talking, so there are things they want to speak about first. You know how it is. I hope so too. It’s very exciting. We pulled off a great season one and we will be happy to do it another time.”

Furthermore, talking about Aryan, Siddiqui added, “I think he’s got his head on his shoulders. He is extremely aware of what is being said around and he’s got a great sense of humour. I think our sense of humour aligned. The way that we wanted to tell the story was also… We were never in disagreement about anything, which is why I think that healthy partnership shows on the screen.”
