Iran-US-Israel War News Live: At Least 6 Killed In Israeli Strikes On Southern Lebanon
Iran US War Ceasefire News Updates Today: The United States launched fresh strikes in Iran near the Strait of Hormuz in the wee hours of Thursday, according to Reuters. This is the second US strike in 48 hours in Iran, while negotiations are underway in Qatar to end the conflict.
Iran said a return to war was unlikely, while Trump told a televised White House cabinet meeting that Tehran wanted a deal but had not yet offered enough.
“Iran is very much intent, they want very much to make a deal. So far they haven’t gotten there. We’re not satisfied with it, but we will be,” he said.
“Either that or we’ll have to just finish the job.”
Peace Talks On Between US, Iran
As the US and Iran continue remain locked in a fragile ceasefire since April 8, efforts to reach a peace truce are quietly underway in Qatar.
However, both Washington and Tehran have intensified their rhetoric against each other through press briefings, social media statements, and televised interviews.
Among the major disputes that continue to block a final truce between the two nations are Iran’s missile program, uranium enrichment, and control over the vital Strait of Hormuz.
