IPL 2026: Rinku, Anukul combine to script KKR’s first win

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), at rock bottom, finally had some light creep in through the crevice on Sunday (April 19, 2026) as it bagged its first win and much-needed two points in the ongoing IPL 2026.

KKR made heavy weather of the modest target of 156 set by Rajasthan Royals (RR), but celebrated with the fervour of a title triumph at Eden Gardens. It also snapped a nine-game winless run across two seasons for the home team.
