Driver Arrested After Lamborghini Hits Workers in Noida Accident | India News – The Times of India

NOIDA: Two workers were injured after a Lamborghini car veered onto the pavement and hit them near an under-construction building in Sector-94, Noida. Both were injured and admitted to a private hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the injured individuals were identified as Rambhu and Ravidas. The driver of the car was arrested by the police and is identified as Deepak Kumar, a resident of Ajmer and a car dealer.
A senior police officer said that the incident took place around 5 pm, and the police received information from a passerby. Immediately, a police team reached the spot.
“Initial investigation revealed that the accused came to check a car in Noida today. He took the car out for checking and also did some shopping. When he was returning towards the car owner, the high-speed Lamborghini lost control and mounted the pavement. At that time, Rambhu and Ravidas were sitting on the pavement with two others. The speeding car hit both of them. Two of their colleagues narrowly escaped the accident. They sustained injuries to their arms and legs. The police are currently interrogating the accused,” he said.
“After the incident, some people working there, with the help of passersby, stopped the driver, who then asked if anyone was dead. The police were informed, and officers from Sector 126 arrived at the scene, taking the accused into custody and seizing the car,” police said.
Police registered a case against Deepak under the section of 281 (rash driving) and 125 (a) (Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of BNS in Sector-126 police station.
Meanwhile, a viral video captured a tense exchange between the driver and a bystander.

A 51-second video of the incident went viral on social media platforms. In the video, one of the people asks the driver, “Have you learnt stunts?” The driver then asks, “Is anyone dead?”
The person then asks the others to call the police.
